Mission

We provide a grassroots forum for political education, leadership opportunities and community fellowship that honors God, empowers family and strengthens America. Our purpose is to educate the electorate, to involve women in government and decision making, and to be an effective working organization in support of Republican goals.

Taking Action That Makes a Difference!

The OCRW has been establishing strong action committees since 2018. In 2023, the OCRW leadership team cast vision to add to an already strong foundation of programs that offer EVERY Republican, men and women, the opportunity to get involved and make an impact. The following programs are available:

  • Action Committee: Caring For America Projects include “6’er Supporters”
  • Foothills Care Center & Pro-Life Baby Shower and Pro-Life Fundraising and “Baby Shower” for the local care center
  • Convention of States committee meets to discuss and educate individuals regarding legislative action ongoing and identify ways to support efforts that line up with the Republican platform.
  • Bylaws committee exists to educate all members and non-members on the bylaws and modifications to the bylaws that may be necessary to foster growth and sustain order.

For questions on any of these programs, please contact us at communications@ocrwsc.org.

Serving the Community

The OCRW have been an active part of the Oconee community for many years, working tirelessly to make it a better place. We promote the Republican Party and its candidates in Oconee County, draw new voters, particularly women, into the Republican Party, and empower and mobilize Republican women to be more effective in the political process.

United by a Common Goal

Our women know the value of being connected.
That’s why we gather, fellowship, and learn together to help our party stay strong, unified, and to help our country and community.

Civic, Political and Governmental Leadership

We are 100+ members strong and growing! Our objectives are to:

  • Promote an informed electorate through political education and training
  • Increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of better government through active political participation
  • Foster loyalty to the Republican Party and promote its principles and ideals
  • Work together with the Oconee County Republican Men (OCRW) and the Oconee County Republican Party (OCRP) to identify and support Republican candidates running for local, state or national office
